synchronous return of the workflow

Hi,

i have the requirement that 

- the user enter data

- the workflow does something with the data

- the result of the workflow should be shown to the user

Can I configure the workflow to start directly?

Currently the execution of the workflow starts after I return the response which results in missing informations :-(

Unfortunatly I couldnt find anything where I can force the execution in a synchronous way.

Can you help me?

ok I solved ... wait until state = manual ... sometimes so easy :-)
