Join us on Thursday, November 5, for a special viewing of the DVD
version of the documentary Food, Inc. As part of the response to the
global food crisis NFFC has helped to organize more than 25 house
parties nationwide to screen the DVD to farmers and allies. At 8:15
PM, there will be a phone teleconference with Robert Bronner, the
director of Food, Inc., Troy Roush of American Corn Growers
Association, featured in the film, and Gary Hirshberg. Stonyfield CEO.
At 9 PM EDT/6PM PDT there will be a video teleconference discussion
with Gary Hirshberg and Josh Trought, New Hampshire organic farmer and
director of the educational farm D Acres.
Here in DC NFFC is happy to co-host this event with the Institute for
Agriculture and Trade Policy. We hope you can join us for pizza, beer/
wine and popcorn!
