Hi!

I am wondering about the status of this project. Is it still under development? It is based on libnfc and the most recent version is a 1.6-rc1 that is more than a half year old. Is is still worth developing against this API or should I pay more attention to OpenNFC or the NFC implementation in the Linux kernel.

Libnfc and nfc-tools are community driven... so projects grow as fast as there
are contributions...
These days, we have good contributions, so we release often...

It depends on what you want, what you need and what you expect to do with...
