Hello!

I got an ACR122U reader last week and I'm starting to take a look at nfctools (still kinda lost).

I was trying to run the SnepDemo (eclipse, on a Mac), using a Nexus 7 (Android 4.2.2), without luck... I also tried to run LlcpDemo or LlcpService, same thing...

Jun 11, 2013 4:18:01 PM org.nfctools.scio.TerminalHandler getAvailableTerminal

INFO: Checking terminal: ACS ACR122U 00 00

DEBUG: org.nfctools.spi.acs.InitiatorTerminalTagScanner - Wait for card absent

Thanks in advance,
Mario

I also tried using target mode (both passing the parameter or setting the variable in the code), but then I get this even before tapping the Nexus:

Jun 11, 2013 4:48:42 PM org.nfctools.scio.TerminalHandler getAvailableTerminal

INFO: Checking terminal: ACS ACR122U 00 00

Using: ACS ACR122U 00 00

Mode: TARGET

Waiting for P2P, press ENTER to exit

javax.smartcardio.CardException: connect() failed

at sun.security.smartcardio.TerminalImpl.connect(TerminalImpl.java:67)

at org.nfctools.spi.acs.TargetTerminalTagScanner.run(TargetTerminalTagScanner.java:40)

at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:680)

Caused by: sun.security.smartcardio.PCSCException: SCARD_E_INVALID_VALUE

Hi Mario,

I assume you have the ACR122U-A9 model. Unfortunately this model behaves a little bit different than the model I own (ACR122U-A2)
Since I don't have access to the A9 model it is difficult to find out what differences there are.

Regards,
Adrian.

Hey Adrian,

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I checked the version, the model is A9 as you said...
