Greetings everybody,
I received the following message from Becca the other day and wanted to pass it on to all of you. I will continue to send updates as I have them. In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Becca directly.
Thanks!
Amy

Passio is actively working on a series of improvements to make the app more accessible for VoiceOver users. These updates will make it much easier to navigate to the stops list, prevent users from getting stuck in the map view, and ensure that stop times and bus information are read aloud clearly.

All of these enhancements are on track to be completed by the end of November, with a TestFlight version available the first week of December. Once the updated version is available, I will be informed, and I'll ask you and any of your cohorts who have an interest to try using the updated test flight app and let me know your thoughts!!

I had a meeting with the C-Suite Development staff person last week at Passio and they were very humbled by the feedback I provided via you and the rest of the group's commentary. (I had provided it previously, but not directly to the Chief myself until last week.) And the video I took trying to use the app in Voice Over mode made the issue very clear. They are aware I'm withholding any further payment until this is resolved, and they seem genuinely committed to change.

We are also getting a different kind of tablet as a test to see if that resolves some of the odd announcing and other issues we are having.

Thank you for your assistance!
Becca

Amy, thank you very much for this email and the exciting news. Thank you Becca for all you have done for us. You’re truly a wonderful person to work with and Janesville is blessed.

I have already downloaded the TestFlight information and attempted to use the Passio GO! app today. As I can see some I still have to say it’s very unfriendly. Not intuitive like other apps. But I was able to find my stop and find out what time the bus was coming, though it wasn’t clear. I was standing at Garden Court, Saturday afternoon and it only gave the stop options of 15 and 45 minutes. Which doesn’t really say a whole lot about when the bus is coming. I have some organizational complaints but it’s not for this list. Thank you again for everything you do for all of us. I will pay attention in December
