The Wisconsin Parents of Blind Children invite students and their families to join us on Zoom for a series of online cooking classes.
Regina Mitchell, a graduate of Seattle Culinary Academy, will host four online cooking classes February 24, March 24, April 28 and May 26, 2021. Regina lost a large portion of her eyesight in 2011, after which she became a member of the National Federation of the Blind. Regina serves on two Organizations: National federation of the Blind of Nevada, Board Member and Scholarship Chair and Blindconnect Angela’s House Board of Directors and Chef Instructor of Culinary Program in which she hosts Live cooking sessions via zoom.
The online (Zoom) cooking class will feature a variety of great recipes with specific instructions for blind or visually impaired youth and their families. During the class, you can participate along with Regina or simply just observe. If you choose to cook along with Regina, we will provide you with the recipes, ingredients, and equipment you will need in advance of the class.
You can register for one or all the classes.
February 24th - appetizers
March 24th – side dish / salads
April 28th – entrée’s
May 26th - desserts
