At 9:00 AM the red throated loon was at the St. John's hrb. It was much further west then has previously being reported. One black guillemot, an adult bald eagle and six cormorants were also near the Narrows. Several black guillemots and two dovekies were in the Flatrock harbour this morning. There were abt 10 scaups in Torbay harbour. There were also a couple of cormorants and another long neck bird further out in the harbour. Not sure what it was. It was around this time last year I saw a red throated loon in Torbay harbour.
