A 2th day arrival for a small group of Cedars at our Curtiss Ave maples which are full of catkin rich seeds…. The backyard birdbath also accommodated them on their initial arrival a couple of days ago.  Our Tree Swallows that are setting up housekeeping close by in a newly erected ‘predator proof’ nest box appear to be contented.  One Cedar did hit a window yesterday and surcombed … a tragedy

just got this - how did the tree swallows make out this summer?
