Hello Access Indians,

Greetings from Mitra Jyothi!
We would like to inform you that Mitra Jyothi is providing ASUS netbooks at
subsidised cost of Rs. 9000. This scheme is for students who need computer
for help with their higher education. These netbooks have been reconfigured
for persons with low vision and blindness by installing all the required
free and open source software.

*Eligibility Criteria: *

a) This scheme is only for students with low vision or blindness studying
in 11thstandard, 12thstandard, or higher education.

b) Basic knowledge of computers is a must.

c) Those who have received Net Book from Saksham previously will not be
eligible.

d) Working professionals will not be eligible.

For the selected candidates, 2 day training on the usage of the installed
tools will be given. Attendance for this training will be compulsory. For
outstation candidates, food and dormitory accommodation can be availed at
