i have thought about that as well and since sundin will not be around
**or so it seems** the team needs a leader that will play every shift
of every game in a way that stes an example of heart, energy and
patience....and honestly they dont have anyone that jumps out
immediately.. in fact the ONLY candidate seems to be kaberle....and he
doesnt fit well with me.........
>
> Will Ryder rebound in Boston?
he will have yet another 25 or more goal season and i wouldnt worry
too much about his +/- it seems as though he may even start the
season on the top line
> Will Theodore get the Capitals into the Conference Finals?
your kidding right???
> Will the Habs be this good again? Will the Leafs be this bad?
bad will yet again win the cup in december and fail in april.....the
expectations are not to be realized again and the price will prove to
be yet again the next steve penny
the leafs.....unfortunately it would be reaching to see them make the
playoffs but we will see

not a chance....he should be banned for life and behind bars
>

yes, february, new york or colorado
Teams on the way up? East: Tampa. West: Chicago
> On the way down? East: NY Rangers. West: Minnesota
too bland of a question....too many possibilities...

your perogative....
this ng isnt killed, it never was alive...nf general is where it is
at....
as for your chivilry.......can it...be what you want to be.....and
never change from that.....dont be like that fella shitstopher who in
one thread tries to pretend he is a "real " fan and respects the game
and then prays for a life threatening illness to befall on a
player..... we can do without his kind...
lol
now lets flame away and have a great year
thanks
Darryl
And I'm not kidding on Jose Theodore. Say what you will, he's hung around
longer than Jim Carrey. In fact, he's played in more playoff games than
Roberto Luongo, AFTER leaving Montreal. And Theo doesn't "bulk up" with the
big gear that Luongo, Turco, Giguere and others do. I think Colorado is far
worse with Budaj-Weiman than they would have been with Theodore-Budaj.
Cheers,
The man who doesn't exist, except on paper.
PS: Who is "that fella shistopher"?

yes that is the point , keep focus on that and we'll have a ball this
year

teabag is the most inconsistant wannabe out there, always has been
always will be...... his flash has dashed, expect him to be traded
again inside of 2 years.....or wahsed up and retired ...one or
both....

what credibility as well as an opinion??....put your name on it, meet
and greet with us and have a laugh......it is a big step for
most...but the invite is there if u want it....

shitstopher .... haha that dweeb......you will get to know him as he
starts to crawl out from under the rock from which he habitates ....
he makes an appearance every now and then and then skulks back under
the same rock after his ass gets kicked in here over and over and
over..... pity really ...there was promise there at one point i
think..........NOT!!!!!!!!
thanks

> Who gets the 'C' in Toronto this year?
> I'll say Kaberle.
Kaberle was one of the few who came to mind for me, although they might go
with one of the newer additions just so the leader isn't part of the culture
of losing that's been there for so long.
> Will Ryder rebound in Boston?
> I say no. 25 goals at best, and another terrible plus/minus. Might cost
> Chiarelli his job.
Mike Ryder is a good kid with no defensive sense. When the team's focus
switched to a more defensive minded approach in the absence of Souray you
saw quickly what happened A) to the team's standings, and B) to Ryder's
production. It'll depend on the approach taken in Boston. He's responded
well to Claude Julien's coaching before, so if the Bruins play a run-and-gun
game, he might post some good numbers.
> Will Theodore get the Capitals into the Conference Finals?

The right sports psychologist for Theodore might make a world of difference
in the Eastern race. Unless Ovechkin gets injured, then that team doesn't
have a prayer.
> Will the Habs be this good again? Will the Leafs be this bad?
> No on both ends, but the Habs will make the playoffs and the Leafs won't.
Agreed.
> Will Bertuzzi recapture old glory in Calgary?
> He has paid the price for the Moore hit, but all that aside, he's done

> buys him out.
Agreed. No place for him in the game - it's too bad that declining skills
instead of the NHL taking a real stand is what will put him out.
> Will Sundin come back, and where?
> I say Denver, for a farewell tour with old Nordique buddies Sakic, Foote
> and Forsberg.
Is Forsberg actually playing this year? I've read rumours about both of them
showing up as a Trade-Deadline 1-2 addition in Colorado, but my best guest
is he's going to be added to either Pittsburgh or Ottawa at the deadline -
he wants to win, and I'm picking those two teams to come out of the east
again.
> Teams on the way up? East: Tampa. West: Chicago
> On the way down? East: NY Rangers. West: Minnesota
Agreed.

Good on you, hope a few more like you show up.

we call it as we see it , and when you show up wishing a life
threatening disease on a player and laughing about it, then you are
going to be called on it...you , I , or anyone else for that
matter........like i said here a million times...it is a great place
for banter, baiting and general respect for others but some folks just
bring out the worst in themselves and others...and unfortunately you
are one of them......
here's to hoping that this year is a fresh start.......... time
will tell
cheers
