Company Profile:
Our client, a distribution company, is seeking to fill a part-time
Corporate Accountant position.
Responsibilities:
Code payroll and A/P invoices and prepare cheques.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, profit and loss statements
including analysis of variances, year end working papers and HST
remittances.
Prepare and reconcile monthly intercompany balances with affiliates
including calculation of intercompany interest charges and preparation of
accounting entries.
Reconcile corporate income tax payments.
Perform accounting for US companies sweep accounts.
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Requirements:
At least two years relevant work experience.
Professional designation preferred.
Salary:
$18,000
