Anyone know how to tint white icing the color of pumpkin orange? When I do
it by the directions on the food coloring box, it turns out peach not pumpin
orange.

IIRC, combining red and yellow colouring will give you orange. Just
experiment with that until you get the right shade of orange.

Liquid food coloring will not do the job for you to deepen the color. You
can get orange food color paste or gel at Stockwood's or Michael's that is
much more concentrated and will not loosen the consistency of your icing,
making it sloppy like liquid colors can.
