Rogers sent me an e-mail that said if I changed my settings from
roadrunner.nf.net to nl.rogers.com before such-and-such a date, I could win
a computer or a free month of Internet.

So I followed the link, and it took me to a page [
http://www.rogershelp.com/help/home.shtml ] showing me how to change my
settings, but I did not see a contest entry form or anything. I was kind of
pissed, and then I foloowed another link that led me into a pretty cool
Rogers online help center. It showed how to set up secondary acounts, and
change your password, and check your Rogers/Yahhoo! webmail.

I clicked on some of these links because in order to set up a secondary
account with Roadrunner, you had to call in, and in order to change your
password, you had to telnet in. I was completely intrigued by the webmail. .
.

but alas! This all seemed to be for rogers.com customers and not for
NL.rogers.com clients.

Does anyone know if it is *going* to be available to me, or if I am doing
something wrong?

If you look at the properties of the link they sent you in the e-mail, you
will see that it takes you too a redirect site that you never see. That
redirect site is a company that manages client lists and actions. When you
clicked on that link, you were directed through that company with your
unique code that lets rogers know that you have followed the link.

The rogers / Yahoo content, webmail, etc. is coming soon for Newfoundland
customers. Changing from Roadrunner to Rogers is the first step ... other
changes to follow (such as increased speed!).

As for the contest you are entered automatically when you change your
e-mail.
