As the title says, has anyone on this group ever used nutrilawn ??
And more importantly, were you pleased with the service/results ??

I noticed their trucks have "eco friendly" written on them, so I
assume their product is safe for children/pets ??

Normally I would pick the buggers out by hand, but I don't have much
free time lately. The problem is getting worse, as my neighbors lawn
has been completely taken over by weed and it's starting to work it's
way over. Figured now is a good time to bring in the pros.

If you're looking to kill the weeds, I'd be surprised if they're using
anything that is safe for kids/pets. My sister still gets warnings from
her neighbour's lawn care company that they are spraying this or that
and to keep kids and pets away.

Better to buy a weed plucker and start plucking...
As far as I know Nutrilawn still uses weed killer that is probably not
eco-friendly and I still get notices when the neighbors spray and
their lawns are no better now than they were in June.
I believe most of these weed killers need at least three days of dry
weather for the weed killer to work(according to Ross Traverse).
So if it rains the day after you spray all you weed killer is washed
away.
I early in the when the weeds pop up and use the plucker.
I have about 6000 sq.ft of lawn and I would be hard pressed to find
twenty weeds.
Its good exercise anyway.

The pesticides that they carry are no different than any other of the
lawn care companies. You ever wonder why the poor souls are suited up
when they apply this stuff . . . because it is poison. Just for your
own piece of mind just give the company a call and ask them for the
trade name of what they apply and then google the MSDS for the
product. you will be out buying a weed plucker that afternoon.

I have used Nutrilawn for the past 7 years. They offer very good service
and I have to admit that my lawn has been quite nice every summer. If
you have a problem, they are quick to correct it.

When it comes to insecticide or herbicide, the chemicals they use are
the same as everyone else. They are federally approved as are the
application techniques.

No complaints here at all.

Yeah sure they are. I had to contact their corporate office on the
mainland in order to get them to repair damage to my property and home.
I ended up fixing my lawn myself cause I couldn't wait any longer for
them. They wouldn't even take responsibility for the damage at first
and then promised to fix it about twenty times. They finally fixed the
damage to my siding and it now sticks out like a sore thumb.

I heard Boyd Loveless on the radio talking about some new product they
were using this year...never caught it all and can only assume it was
for weeds...

Plenty here...

Damages to siding from a lawn care company? How does that happen?

Because they also do snow clearing. They were hired for the winter by
my neighbor. I warned them not to plow the snow up against my house
after they completely buried my basement window. But did they
listen...noooo! They'd pile it 5-6 ft over the window. The weight of
the snow crushed my window sill and pealed back the siding.

I had to get out of bed and go out to the moron one morning because he
was blowing snow from the snow blower directly at my house. Bone heads.
Another time they completely buried my satellite dish.

Until I put a marker on my lawn they used to run the neighbors snow
about ten feet in over my lawn and tore the shit out of it. "oh we'll
fix that in the spring" they said. Yeah I had to reseed it myself as it
was August and they still hadn't gotten around to doing it.

Based on what I've seen of their winter work, I wouldn't dare hire them
to touch my lawn. My neighbor never used them again after that first
winter. She was as disgusted with them as I was.
