My sister is just getting into painting and I would like to get her
something related for her birthday. I'm clueless about this type of thing,
any suggestions on what to get her and where to get it? Are there any great
supply places around that give gift certificates?

There's a good art store on Golf Ave just above St. Clares called M
Francais Kelly. They have a big selection and you can get sets that
would make great gifts. They can make a suggestion I'm sure.

I purchased a gift certificate for my nephew about 2 years ago at M. Francis
Kelly. What a mistake. They had very little selection and were very
expensive. Staples carries most of the same products and are much more
reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest Staples.

I used to get all my prints framed at m francis kelly to along with supplies
but I think they must have changed management in the last few years because
they are not the same to do business with anymore. It's too bad because I
used to love the service I got there in the 90's.
