Because that's his real name. Rogers was a name he assumed when he
entered broadcasting, presumably because it sounds cooler than Bent.

That's right. It was a common thing to change your name in broadcasting
a few years back. It was one of those things that is hard to undo.
It seemed like as good a time as any since the story was done on
the bone marrow transfer.
