People still watch survivor?
I am a huge fan of the show and this is my take on it. I was rooting
for Russel until he got to cocky and obnoxious. Sure he played a good
game but did he have to rub it in and annouce it to everyone. If he
had been a little more humble, he might have won. If he hadn't gotten
so mad when his name was mentioned, he might have won. If he had not
told other players he made 1.75 million dollars with his business the
previous year, he might have won. People are not going to give someone
a million dollars who's already a millionare. While I agree he played
a damn good game possibly one of the best ever, he also made a lot of
mistakes. He pissed off to many people and came across as mean and
greedy. In the end he was a big sore loser. He was so pissed that
when he didn't win he looked like he was going to throw a temper
tantrum. He didn't even smile and then tried to buy the title. People
saw him for what he was in the game. A mean vindictive player who got
to cocky in the end. The jury is who decides who gets the million
dollars and in the end he basically pissed off to many of them and
they didn't like him. They saw him for what he was in the show.
Of all the seasons, the one person who should have won was Rupert from
Survivor: Pearl Islands.
Even Jeff Probst was pissed he was voted off.
Of all the seasons, the one person who should have been buried up to their
neck in feces and left to die is Jonny "Fairplay" Dalton

Anyways, back to 'reality'.
I think everyone is missing the point here. There is more to this game
than playing it well and getting rid of your opponents. This season
showed that there is a social aspect to the game that many take for
granted. While Russel played a damn good strategic game and probably
the best ever he forgot the social aspect and that the jury holds your
faith. When someone crossed him he got rid of them but he also let
them know in a not so nice angry way. They didn't forget this on the
jury. Wether they were whiny or whatever they are the people who
decide who gets the million dollars. To take them for granted all
trough the game and not play that part cost Russel a million dollars.
This jury wanted to reward the good over the bad. While she may not
have played the game as Russel did she did get to the end in her way.
It's another way to win the game. Russel forgot to treat the members
of the jury with some respect and humility
Absolutely correct UM, you have summed it up perfectly.
I'm still amazed that the doctor got no votes at all from the jury.
What's up with that? To much effort placed on getting even with Russell
maybe?

Next season should be very interesting. It will be a contest between
the villains and the heroes from previous episodes.

I beg to differ. She survived and that's the name of the game. You
don't necessarily have to like the way she survived but you need to give
her credit for doing so.
At least some people had
> integrity.
Integrity? Give me a break, it's a TV show, it's not about integrity,
it about survival any way you can then being judged by your peers for
the way you survived.
Even Shambo, who was disappointed at being voted out, and
> knew that Russell orchestrated it, respected the strategy and the game.
> She knew he did what he had to do.
The problem was that she only respected one strategy and she made that
clear. That made her a lousy judge.

Of course.

I doubt he'll be back. They got him on Micronesia and then he whined to
get off it to be with his girlfriend. I'd be surprised if CBS wastes
another plane ticket on him.

Danny Bonaduce ranks pretty damn close to doucebag in my opinion. If
you slamed two of them together you still wouldn't come up with one
decent person.
