On the off chance anybody knows this person, I have some mail for her(?). It
was sent to my address with her name on it. It is personal mail so it would
be nice if it could get to her. The return address is in Korea so I suspect
it will end up lost if I try to RTS.

email if you can be of any assistance or pass this on to her.

TIA

I believe she used to be the manager at Goodlife Fitness at Dominion on
Blackmarsh Road. They may have a forwarding address for her.

Return the mail to the Post Office. It's nice of you to try to
deliver it but the posties are better at it and they even get
paid to do it.

Goodlife Fitness should know. In any case I saw her at Christmas at the
Glacier awhile ago so she's apparently still living here.
Maybe she went to one of the other fitness places? Might be worth
checking. Did you by any chance call 411 to see if there's a new # for
her?

Obviously they are not better at it since they delivered it to me. I have
been contacted by somebody who knows her so this does seem the best way to
have resolved the issue. Discuss if you wish.

What was the address on the envelope?

Seeing as how you have resolved the issue there is little to
discuss. I hold the opinion that the Post Office gets well paid
to deliver the mail and citizens should not be doing it for them.
Yes they do make mistakes, as we all do, but if you correct it
they will never know they made it and will have no opportunity to
correct it.

Other than your prurient need to know, why would I give the address? And, as
I have stated, arrangements are being made to have this go to the rightful
owner. You Really must be bored.

wow, I thought it was only the younger generation affected by the 'not my
job' syndrome, lol
Don't get me wrong, the statements you make are entirely correct, but the OP
was only trying to be nice dontcha think?

(spelling/grammar intentional, no corrections necessary)

I have no interest, prurient or otherwise. I was simply
wondering if the address was your address, in which case the Post
Office did it's job and it's only a matter of noting on the
envelope that the person is not at this address and putting in
the mailbox. If it was not your address then the Post Office
needs to be told that they delivered mail to the wrong address
and given the opportunity to correct it's mistake.

And, as

Yes I know.

You Really must be bored.

LOL! Who started the thread?

Yes I do and have said so.

Randene is a friend of mine. Yes, it's the same one from Goodlife. I

I did, in an effort to try to get a piece of mail to its intended recipient.
And you replied in an unhelpful manner because?????

I am also a little bored so I am replying to you.

.....because I believe what you were doing, although well
intentioned, was wrong. Let the Post Office correct it's
mistakes. It has the mandate to deliver the mail, not you.
