Then why are you feeding her food from the local grocery store? You
could be killing her slowly. Wouldn't you like to feed her healthier
food and save money doing so? To discover how to lengthen your dogs
life-

According to Canadian Standards, all the food needs to be considered dog
food is fiber, protien, and oil. There was a show on TV the other night
about dog food some guy cooked up a "soup" using leather work boots for
protien, wood chips for fiber, and used crank case oil. His mixture was
tested and quailfied as dog food.

Just imagine, the food in a supermarket isn't fit for a dog.

I learned something new today.

Feeding your dog is simple if you know and understand their diet. I
have siberian huskies who get home made meals all the time. I mix
white rice, cooked pasta, chicken breast chunks, peas and carrots.
Its VERY nutritional and they absolutley love it. You just need to
ensure that the quantities and contents match your breeds needs.

I totally agree with you...I guess my post was taken the wrong way, it
is not the food at the grocery store, although some is pretty nasty,
but the dog food on the shelves at the grocery store...

My whole point is there are only a few brands of commercial food that
are truly worthy of our pets, and the rest is crap. Pets that have
been fed the RAW, BARF, and homecooked diets tend to be much
healthier, as long as you are following the right guidelines.

So, I apologize to anyone that I seemed to have misled down the wrong
path!

Oh, and Jason that is sad.
