Does anyone know of any painting classes offered in the city area? I'm
trying to find a course for beginners, prefer oils or acrylics, but
watercolors would do. Any info greatly appreciated.

The Anna Templeton Centre on Duckworth Street offers courses in acrylic
painting and watercolor painting (and pretty much any other artistic
pursuit you can think of.) Their phone number is 739-7623.

Ed Roche did lessons from his home studio in East End St. John's. I'm not
sure if he still does.

He's great, isn't he?
He was in HV-GB a few years ago for the Creative Arts Festival. The kids
loved him and he made painting look easy & fun.
