In 4 very long days, we have built a website that allows Internet Service
Providers to register themselves and allows Canadians to search for an
Internet Service Provider by province, city, service type (DSL, dial-up,
wireless, cable, etc), maximum price you are willing to pay, residential or
business. The site has been up and running for over 40 days now and has had
enormous success.
Internet Service Providers register their own companies / services so if you
don't see your favorite ISP let them know. ISPs are registering quickly so
if your city is not covered it will be within a few days. There are forums
set up to allow Canadians to talk about Internet related issues. Canadians
can also rate their Internet Service Providers and let people know how good
they really are.
Internet Service Providers have the ability to log in (password protected)
to the website to update their services as they change or roll out new
cities etc.
Anyway, that is enough promotion. I know many people here asked for this
type of a website, so please drop us an email if you have any questions or
improvements you can suggest.
