Great choice for crops, but some warning first, you cannot use it in fresh
form without washing the salt off the seaweed! That and caplin and manure
were the only original fertilizers available to a lot of farmers once.
Seaweed is actually very low in essential nutrients, less than 1/2 to 1/4 %
of N-P-K, but if it is free and you want the labour of washing it? then it
helps the soil, best to put in the soil prior to planting though..So after
all that I really don't know where to get some, but suggest somewhere that
is not near a sewer runoff, which a lot of towns still do..

I know where to get seaweed but not nearby, lots of beaches have it,
I just haven't been able to find one close enough it make it feasible.
