Is it possible to have cable internet but not cable TV. For instance,
if I decide to subscribe to a satalite service, will I still have to pay
for cable TV because the connection will still be coming into my
house????

if u dont have cable tv then you have to pay an extra $10 a month

and internet via satelite is not as good.. its only high speed one way and
you would have to use your phone line as well... same as dialup

Satelite internet rivals that of a slug in a race.... Slow slow slow....
And usually moderatly expensive, VERY expensive when comparing speeds to
other services. It's not suitable for gaming of any sort, the latency times
are unbearable, unless all you do is ocassionally browse and check email.
