Have it in a triple boot with Windows 7 x64 and OS X snow leopard.

Very disappointed in the lack of quality control on ubuntu 10.10, had
huge performance issues on many people's systems that has yet to be
fixed by official updates.

Ubuntu still my favorite, more things work out of the box than other
Distros I have tried. I can dig into the guts of it if I need to, but if
I am going to get the family to use it, it needs to have easy to install
functionality, and easy to use.

Other than that I really like PCLinuxOS too.

For me, nothing beats Slackware or CentOS. Ubuntu does have a great
online support community, though.
