Stupid problems in CentOS

I must be tired but I can't get a couple of things working on my CentOS mail
server. These are likely stupid but as I said I'm tired...

Anyway, here the problems:
1) LogWatch (version logwatch-5.2.2-2.EL4) won't send any qmail logs. I
have checked the logwatch.conf file and it is set to "Service = All" and
"Detail = High" but still no qmail (nor spamd for that matter - yes, it is
installed)
2) - root keeps sending as ro...@localhost.localdomin. I've checked
/etc/sysconfig/network and it is set to servername.domain.com and in
/etc/hosts both the IP and 127.0.0.1 are set to hostname.domain.com and
hostname (and localhost for 127.0.0.1). I've even done a hostname =
host.domain.com in despiration but no go.
