Yip, been running it for the last week or so. So far, I think its a
much better release than 9.10, and definitely deserves the LTS tag on
it.
Am currently running 64bit on my desktop and laptop, and 32bit on my
girlfriend's laptop. I don't usually run beta releases full time, but
this one has proven quite stable. The whole system seems faster to
me, everything is snappy, the interface is a much better improvement
than prior releases as they move away from the brown and onto more
comfortable default themes. The Ubuntu Software Centre is evolving
into a nice piece of software as well, I like where they're going with
it. Ubuntu Cloud seems like a good idea, but I currently use other
services like Dropbox and ZumoDrive. All in all, its great.
The only real dislike thus far is their default placement of the
titlebar buttons, I don't know why they've done it or if they're going
to change it before final release. If you don't like it, i made a
quick tutorial on moving them back: http://www.quilliam.info/2010/03/71/
.
All in all, this should be one of the best releases ever for Ubuntu.
Which is nice because 9.10 really disappointed me, and gave me too
many issues.
