A big thing about this release is aparently the new boot system called
"Plymouth". I tried out Fedora 10, and didn't really notice a huge
difference in the booting process, but i'm sure a lot more is going on
under the hood and will be better customized in the future.
There's also word that Plymouth may be included in the next version of
Ubuntu, depending on if they move to the currently unreleased 2.6.29,
for the kernel-mode-setting. Time will tell, but its nice to see
Fedora raising the bar for all distros.
