37 Harlequin Ducks at St Shotts

Today (12 March 2023) Ken Knowles and I saw 37 Harlequin Ducks feeding next to the rocks off the St Shotts light station. 22 were males. This is more than twice the previous high count from this location.

13 Canada Geese at Cootes Pond
Large numbers of murres flying NW and on water more than one kilometre off Pt LaHaye. two unidentified large whales in same location.
