In spite of of very windy conditions yesterday there were a few species of birds that showed up for us. Here are a few.
1 Bobolink near Light Station at end of Bear Cove Pt. rd. Renews.
1 Canada warbler Cutler's rd. ext. Renews
3 Lapland Longspur near Powles Head Light House, Trepassey
2 Northern Harrier Portugal Cove South and Bear Cv. Pt. rd Renews
1 Red Eyed Vireo Ferryland, near Wecome to Ferryland sign
1 Short billed Dowitcher Renews, inner harbour
The bird activity on Bear Cove Point rd. was significantly small compared to previous days. Maybe the windy conditions and a Harrier and a Sharpie were contributing factors.
