The ice charts indicate the pack ice should reach the Avalon within the next couple of days. There is often major bird activity along the leading edge of the ice field.

Winds today strong North-east/Friday North/Saturday,Sunday,Monday,Tuesday all North,Wednesday and Thursday 15th and 16th of March both Easterly which will surely lock it right into the shoreline,looks like it could be detrimental to whales and other sea mammals,but one animals loss is another ones gain,that's where the Ivory gull comes in.Cliff might get a new Artic fox,what Light-house do we find the Chocolate cake too now,I'm hungry?.Gerard
