There was a female King Eider at Cape Spear this morning with 120 Common Eiders. Nice views in scope but a bit far for binoculars. not much else at all. Yesterday there were a few dozen Black-legged Kittiwakes investigating the nesting cliff at the Blackhead headland. During the previous three mornings at Cape Spear good numbers of Glaucous Gulls - up to 200 per morning moving north against the wind.
