The weather was great for birding. It was warm and sunny all day and wind conditions could not have been better.
At Cape Broyle we had a Red Eyed Vireo.
On the Cape Race road there were 13 Whimbrels, 1 Pine warbler near the Long Beach turn off and 1 juvenile Northern Goshawk near the Mistaken Point turn off path.
On the Powles Head rd, in Trepassey there were 2 Philadelphia Vireos and 3 Hermit thrushes. In the harbour there were 7-8 Razobills.
Savannah sparrows are still present in good numbers.
