Went to Chamberlains Pond, CBS to see if last years White-winged Teal might have returned. No show in 45 minutes. But there was a female type Blue-winged Teal in the pond.It was feeding on the surface pond weeds Also 60 Black ducks and mallards. It was the only teal.
An adult Black-headed Gull feeding on by the sewer outflow.
At Neville's Pond - 12 American Wigeon, mainly adult males.

Do you mean White-winged Tern or a leucistic/albinistic/progressively-greying teal (or a Chiloe Teal)? :)

I went out there last Sunday with the same thought in mind. Also went back on Wednesday when the Snowbirds show was on. Only saw the Black-headed Gull on the beach and a Osprey cruising for supper along the beach.
