Dear John,

So sorry to hear. Ippo enna irukku solradhukku .... it is 6 months now! Nee vudaney solli irukkanum. Everyone of us is so much concerned but you are informing now. Do keep at least one of us posted of any major development.

That reminds me, I think you may not be aware ..... our class-mate Vij ayakumari passed away recently; its around a month now, I think.

And, I retired on 31st Aug. Have shifted to Visakhapatnam on 3rd Sep. About 12 of us spent a few days together in Puri recently.

Yours affectionately,

D. Ravi

Dear Renuka,
I am fine and at Philippines now.
Sorry to say my dad passed away last March. He was ill for 2 days with slight fever/constipation like and just passed away in sleep. I was in Taiwan with Cheryl then and we attended the funeral with my siblings. He was 86 and was in generally good health till then. However his calling came suddenly!!
Hope you are doing fine in Australia. Convey my enquires/regards to your husband.
Warm Regards
john

dear john

any active person cannot retire just like that

best way to overcome this will be to take up some activity in an NGO

we can be of some help in any organisation

apart from spending time we can also help the needy

any way it will be fun to meet when you come next to chennai

regards
ak

Mouli, actually I think we will be bored if retired? I have nothing to think of doing when retired..don't have children or grandchildren staying around you..so it doesn't really matter whether you are in kanyakumari or Kashmir or australia or elsewhere as long as I have to set an alarm to wake up and have a routine like breakfast at xx hours, pick up at xx hours, dinner after xx hours and so on...this can be as long as I can wake up without pain and do the routine...so engge kaal pogum pokavidu...just carry on with living..till you are called to go back ....
Thank you my friend

John, I understand your sentiments… but best way is teaching & training PROJECT MANAGEMENT course in an institute where you settle down.

In anticipation of a similar possibility at my end, I am generating some network at Bangalore for keeping myself engaged in consulting/coaching/mentoring and the like.

Regards,

Mouli
