Upgraded my macbook to the new 13.3 operating system. Each time I try to go to a website or click a URL that opens chrome, I now receive a "This page can't be reached" error. If I hit refresh, the page loads properly. I've tested several websites and it happens regardless.

FWIW. Noting the error "ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED," I did an Internet search and came across a number of articles about this that provided the steps needed to resolve it. Most likely it is an issue with Google Chrome, and not with macOS.

Hmm, since I stopped using Chrome awhile back (and don't want to install it), I have been using the Brave browser. I find it very similar to Chrome without the overhead ... and I have yet to come across this issue using it.

You may want to consider changing browsers as well. Of course, you can still wait to see if someone else experiencing this issue, and has a solution, will chime in. Good luck! Sorry, I couldn't help you.

I get the following info if I try to save or update an existing password when using chrome or brave...
Additionally, sometimes when I attempt to login to 1password using the icon on the browser bar in chrome I get a blank spinning disc

Yes, that seems to work a bit better. I'm a web developer and running into issues with items not being suggested when a docker container uses an alternate port... any ideas there? (for instance a local url of: :8444/user/login -- nothing is suggested for this---)

For the alternate port situation, is the URL you mentioned the only URL added to the item? Additionally, can you confirm which Autofill Behavior setting is selected for the URL? I've included a guide below on adjusting Autofill Behavior if necessary:

When I cast a tab from Chrome, I get video and audio, but when I cast the screen, I get only video. I have tried this with two different Chromecasts, connected to two different video projectors - same result in both cases. One Chromecast is Chromecast with Google TV HD, the other is an older Chromecast. I'm on an M1 Mac running Ventura 13.3.1 (a) and I'm using Chrome Version 113.0.5672.126 (Official Build) (arm64).

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Apparently, your Chromecast devices seem to be working as intended. Like you said, it happens on both Chromecast devices. Did you have a chance to replicate the situation using another laptop? It would help us isolate the issue. This is most likely related to the Chrome browser. It could be a conflict with plug-ins or directly from flags (chrome://flags). Let me know what happens after you replicate it.

Yes, I have had the same problem with a Windows 10 computer. I have also had several exchanges with the Chromecast tech support people who have suggested various things, such as getting latest OS, Chrome and Chromecast updates, resetting the Chromecast, etc. Nothing has changed the situation. I think a fix is needed with Chrome's casting capability, but I don't know if that's being considered.

Safari is the default browser on macOS, but sometime you might want to have a try with Chrome or Firefox for some specific website or purpose. Google Chrome is the best alternative to safari. You can find the answer in this blog if you have questions similar to the following.

The most modern browser in the world, it updates almost every month with many fancy features. If you search in google, it would be straightforward to find the homepage of chrome. If you do not know how to find the download page, you also can download the Chrome package on OkaApps.

Is Firefox safer than Google Chrome? Is Chrome better than Firefox? Is Firefox still a good browser? Yes and No. Everybody has his favorite browser and favorite feature. If you want to install firefox, you can search from google or download the firefox package on okaapps.

Hi @ventura this is an expected browser behaviour and grafana has no influence on this. You must keep the developer tools open for the non cache option to work. Most browsers have an option so if you open a new tab with a tab that has the devtools open, the new tab will also have the devtools open.
