I can confirm this as well. I actually updated postman, and then created a new account and team, and I get this message when signing in to that new account and team. I sign out and switch to my old account/team and it works fine.

This alone will remove the stress. It adds an additional step, but to me it makes perfect sense. Not in the project? Most likely there is a reason. You add it? Most likely this is a mistake, but if not - sure go ahead, just letting you know!

Welcome to the Forum @Alex_Dimitrov and thank you so much for taking time to share this great feedback! I completely understand what you have described. Hopefully this is something we can implement in the future.

As a project admin/owner/leader, I want a feature that limits the list of users shown when assigning a task to someone so that only team, or project, members can ever be assigned to a task in this project.

this is the final straw for me and asana. we have hundreds of members in our organization. to have all 100 appear as an potential (incorrect) assignee to have to be sorted through and selected on EVERY project i create is, to put it delicately, a hard to understand design choice.

I strongly agree with the above. I work with a very large organization that has >50K Asana users. Not everyone has the same infosec rights. Accidentally adding people to a board that are not a part of the team jeopardizes infosec at my company and would shut down usage of Asana very quickly. Strong recommend including an option that limits assignees to only those on the team. Please fix!

I completely agree. When it comes to work with clients on a project basis Asana are shooting themselves in the foot with this simple omission. I also see no benefit to this default behaviour and for the absence of a setting to fix it.

Like all college athletes, I spent a lot of time with my team. Practicing, watching film, lifting weights, traveling for games, eating together, etc. And throughout all of these activities the same phrase seemed to come up almost daily.

Emotionally, I could get behind the message. It meant that everyone on the team had to work hard no matter if they were the first person in the game, or the last man on the bench. I liked the spirit of the statement, so I went along with it. Also, since everyone said it so often, it was almost impossible to disagree.

At the time it seemed crazy, but now it seems obvious. In order for us to be a great team, we needed a whole team of good players, not just one great player. Even though Tommy was our best player and he was winning for us, he needed to pass the ball. He needed to give others a chance to polish their skills, even if it meant he would have fewer opportunities to score; or worse, even if it meant we would lose a few games.

Skype for Business Online operated by 21Vianet in China will be retired on October 1, 2023. If you haven't upgraded your Skype for Business Online users yet, they will be automatically scheduled for an assisted upgrade. If you want to upgrade your organization to Teams yourself, we strongly recommend that you begin planning your upgrade path today. Remember that a successful upgrade aligns technical and user readiness, so be sure to leverage our upgrade guidance as you navigate your journey to Teams.

Upgrading to Teams Only mode offers users the full benefits of Microsoft Teams, the hub for teamwork in Microsoft 365 or Office 365, via a single client experience. Users in Teams Only mode will receive all calls and chats in Teams, regardless of whether the sender is using Skype for Business or Teams, and benefit from interop and federation support.

Although thousands of customers have successfully upgraded to Microsoft Teams, there are considerations that may influence your organization's upgrade timeline and user experience along the way. For the best user experience, confirm that Teams meets your collaboration and communication requirements, make sure that your network is ready to support Teams, and implement your user readiness plan before upgrading users to Teams.

Coexistence considerations: Organizations already using Skype for Business Online and/or Skype for Business Server can introduce Teams into their environment at a pace that meets their needs. Organizations can incrementally roll out Teams to a desired set of users as needed, and users who use Teams can communicate with users who use Skype for Business and vice versa. To manage this experience, administrators use coexistence modes, which define the end-user client experience, the routing behavior of incoming chats and calls, and whether new meetings are scheduled in Teams or Skype for Business. Users can federate with users in other organizations if the user is upgraded to Teams Only; however, the best experience is provided when both users use Teams. Users who are upgraded to Teams Only can still join Skype for Business meetings.

For more detailed information about coexistence, please refer to Understand Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business coexistence and interoperability. For more information about Teams and Skype (Consumer), see Teams and Skype interoperability.

User-specific considerations: Some user scenarios are still evolving, and administrators may decide to temporarily postpone the upgrade of certain users while upgrading other users in the organization. In particular, we are still working on addressing scenarios for users whose primary device is VDI-based. For site announcements, monitor the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.

Remember: The move to Teams is more than a technical migration. A successful upgrade assesses both technical readiness and end-user readiness. Review our Skype for Business to Teams upgrade guidance for more information on planning an implementing your upgrade to Teams.

I have two teams in the system, and my schedule page shows events for both teams. However, when I use the Sync Schedule link and sync to google calendar, only the events for the first team (under My Teams) show in google calendar. Is this a known issue?

Then my phone's clipboard has a webcal link that shows me all of my teams' calendars in one. N.B.: this calendar feed will not include team names that aren't already in the events. So, if one team schedules an event "Practice," and another does as well, you won't know which is which without clicking the detail link for more details. That's the subject of my other post in this forum.

Thanks a lot - I should have clarified, I'm doing on this from a browser on my desktop computer, on the SE website, and specifically selecting Google Calendar link after pressing Sync Schedule at the top right of the Schedule page that shows all events for all teams I have in the system.

Edit -- that worked, subscribing to the individual team calendars from the phone app (using the same Google Calendar option). So the bug seems to be on the SE website, where you aren't able to select individual team calendars. Thanks all for the responses

Now they have removed the ability to do the work around. Just went in through the app on my phone and went into the individual teams and grabbed the calendar link and they made the link the same for all calendars so now I can't even do the workaround... SportsEngine why would you remove the ability to do something that clearly multiple people want, myself included!!!!!! I was bummed as we just got our DakBoard up and running and now it won't be able to show our family who has practices and games and where because everything is the same feaking color. You said you talked about this on your RoadMap in July and it is now November and it seems the only thing that you have done is removed the workaround ability to have separate calendars. I don't know what kind of sprints & product development workflows you are using but someone is dropping the ball on this one!! PLEASE either provide this ability or go back and allow the workaround for us who are willing to do the extra work for different calendars. I still can't believe that you removed a work around when you have acknowledged on this forum that it has been talked about and then multiple treads in this forum asking for it... Make organizations want to keep using your app instead of giving us reasons for the association boards to look for other alternatives!
