"பரிதாபத்தால் வேலை கிடைக்கவில்லை...!' பாரத ஸ்டேட் வங்கியில் பணிபுரியும் மாற்றுத் திறனாளி மாரிமுத்து: என் சொந்த ஊர் திருப்பூர்; விவசாய குடும்பத்தை சேர்ந்த எனக்கு, பிறவியிலேயே பார்வை இல்லை. உடல் அங்கத்தில் உள்ள குறை, வளர்ச்சிக்கு தடையில்லை என்பதை உணர்ந்து, என் பெற்றோர் மற்றும் நண்பர்கள் உதவியுடன், பொருளாதாரத்தில் முதுகலை பட்டம் பெற்றேன். கடந்த 2010ல், பாரத ஸ்டேட் வங்கி சார்பில் நடத்தப்பட்ட பணியாளர் தேர்வின் மூலம், நாடு முழுவதும், 20 ஆயிரம் பேர் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டனர்.தமிழகத்தில், பார்வையற்ற ஆறு பேர் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டதில், நானும் ஒருவன். கண் பார்வை இல்லாதவன் என்ற பரிதாபத்திற்காக இந்த வேலை கிடைக்க வில்லை. முறை யான அனைத்து தேர்வுகளிலும் வெற்றி பெற்ற பிறகே, இந்த வேலை கிடைத்தது. திருப்பூரில், ஊத்துக்குளி சாலையில் உள்ள, பாரத ஸ்டேட் வங்கியின் பிரதான கிளையில், வாடிக்கையாளர் சேவை பிரிவில் சேர்ந்தேன்.வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு, கிரெடிட் கார்டு பெறுதல், புதிய கணக்கு துவங்குதல், கடன் பெறுதல், நடமாடும் வங்கி சேவை, எஸ்.எம். எஸ்., மூலம் தகவல் பெறுதல் உள்ளிட்ட, பல்வேறு நிலைகளில் ஏற்படும் சந்தேகங்களுக்கு, கனிவுடன் பதிலளிப்பேன். பார்வையற்றவர்கள் பயன்படுத்தும் சிறப்பு ஒலி வசதியுடன் கூடிய, மென்பொருளுடன் கணினி நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது. அக்கணினியுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ஹெட்போனிலிருந்து தகவல்களை பெற்று, வாடிக்கையாளர்களின் கேள்விகளுக்கு விளக்கம் அளிக்கிறேன். முகம் பார்க்காமல், வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டியாக உள்ள என் சேவை, வங்கிக்கு வரும் வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடம் பெரும் வரவேற்பை பெற்றது; இந்த பணியின் மூலம், பல்வேறு வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கும் நண்பனாக செயல்படுவதை பெருமையாக கருதுகிறேன்!
