We're getting training at work in Angular 2 next week and the guy organising it is looking for a venue.

I have no idea what the new space is like - or if it's suitable - but something that's come up is that if he could do it in the HackerSpace then it could be an open session in Angular 2 training/hacking.

Whaddya think?

Oliver

Thanks
Philip

Hi guys,
This went to the Nexus / Sample list.
Given the numbers would it make more sense for an event in Forma?

Dan/Nat/Patrick, since you are the most likely to be on site, is there a room where this might work?
Take care,
Will

As long as a member is present I say go for it!

Oliver, are you still a Nexus member? If so, I can set you up with a code on the door, you'll just need a smartphone with a TOTP client to use it. Or, a laptop with Python if you're a masochist. :)

If the event is free, then there's no charge to use the space provided it's sponsored, and supervised, by a member. If the event is charged-for, then we've generally felt it should contribute to the space..but we haven't concretely decided on how much that should be, yet. :)

Hi folks, sorry; Will and I both fell prey to "personal email address not subscribed to forma list", on this one.

TL;DR: Oliver wants to let a friend run an event at Forma, off-list one Forma Member said it's fine, and I'm fine with it too, provided there's a member present. See below for my suggestion.

Also, a general reminder to people that the mem...@formalabs.org list is *private*, so posting to that list is safe for the privacy-conscious.. assuming the recipient is on the list. :)

Thanks, guys. But between the mix up of emails he's got another venue in the mean time. Would love to see the new place some time though.

Thanks for getting back and offering the lab. Very generous guys.

Oliver
