Browse to .../repodata/ ?

I've been using the plugin for a while with zypper and now we're trying to teach our SuSE Manager to see it also. I don't know if our problems are related but I realized today that when I browse to .../repodata my browser will download a compressed SQLite database. If I browse to a file within repodata (e.g. -- .../repodata/repomd.xml) I get the file as expected. Is there a config option that will cause the plugin to render a file list when browsing to .../repodata ?
