Starting with the 2014 fiscal year taxes there will be no more ....

- child tax credit ie. no more receiving refund money back for your kids

- Earned income tax credit. Some people qualify for this based on your income

- mortgage interest deduction.

They've all been eliminated from the tax code by congress. So unless something major goes down I'd say don't go through the year expecting and/or relying on X amount of dollars being returned for the 2014 fiscal year.
