Companies being able to pay for a "fast lane" on the net will no doubt result in those same services/providers increasing the prices for their consumers.

All types of jacked up shit is down that pipeline. Strict data caps from internet providers as well as increased prices. Slower speeds for services that don't have deep pockets to afford to pay for premium net speeds.

Other jacked up things too like your cable provider choosing to block a certain network or service from their consumers because said network or service provider doesn't want to pay ( comcast, verizon, cox, time warner, cablevision, etc) "premium fast lane fees"

Man o man I hope Google fiber starts to roll out to more cities soon. They will save the damn internet as we know it lol.

Yea I feel you in that regard but that companies pockets go deeper than we can even imagine I'm sure. I think it's more of who is in the way rather than what.
