Dear colleague
As most of you are well aware, I recently moved to lead the Institute of Genetics and Cancer at the University of Edinburgh. As part of my start-up package, I can recruit for several posts, including PhD positions and postdoctoral fellows. However, as a first recruitment I am now urgently looking to recruit a Lecturer in Computational Genomics to establish an innovative research line related to reproductive disorders and genomic medicine. In the UK, a lecturer position is a first open-ended position after having been a postdoctoral fellow.
Please could I ask you to share this opportunity with potentially interested colleagues in your network?
Informal inquiries can be sent to myself (jvel...@ed.ac.uk) or Dr Margot Wyrwoll (Margot....@ed.ac.uk).
** The deadline for applications is 1st September 2025 **
Many thanks for your support, I very much appreciate your time and help with this
Best wishes
Joris
