Embracing Our Vision
Raising Our Voices for Our World
Organized by Youth (17-30)
Led by Youth
Thursday, August 18 - Sunday, August 21, 2011
near Asheville, North Carolina.
In alignment with the wisdom that young people have to share, the Huichol, an indigenous peoples of Mexico, have the word
Ritaka meaning a phase of growth in corn when the ears develop. We are also in that
phase of growth and are beginning to bear fruit in the world. Now is
when we listen to our heart’s purpose and begin to bring our gifts into
community.
With this vision in mind, we invite our peers to
join us for a weekend on the land, in sacred space and in the space of
community offering. We invite all the participants to bring a heart’s
longing, gift, or idea with them, to share with those who have gathered.
More information to follow in official registration... This event is
designed to be affordable for all, and will cost 100 dollars including
meals!
If this weekend ignites your heart, please join us!
