Hello,
I wanted to inquire about potential events and sponsorship of The Risan Project sustainability tour with events throughout the US and Canada this year. The tour utilizes a solar-powered stage with presentations and concerts to entertain and inspire awareness of alternative energy production and sustainable design.
The summer and fall 2010 events feature solar-powered concerts with the band Salem at east coast locations in Florida, Nantucket, North and South Carolina. The events will feature alternative energy companies, sustainable designers and architects.
In the late fall 2010, we are working with the Warren Miller Film Premier Tour with a solar stage component in 10 key markets from October 22 to December 4th. During the ski season, we will also feature the solar stage with the Warren Miller Film Camp Tour at 25 ski resorts.
The Risan Project events have featured presentations from COP 15 climatologist, Dr. Konrad Steffen, Al Gore's Climate Project and Olympic athlete, Adam Kreek, This year's winter and spring events featured live music from Salem and film presentations of Sweetgrass Productions X Dance "Best Cinematography"-award winning, "Signatures" and the film short produced by Protect Our Winters/TGR/Northface "Generations".
