Community conference reduction for NextGEN members

Dear NextGEN friends,
Please find attached an invitation to the event, "Community Conference – The Power of Collective Wisdom", to be held in Berlin in early July – just before Europe's annual gathering of the Global Ecovillage Network at Sieben Linden Ecovillage (and only a few hours distance away).
The community conference has kindly offered to subsidise all NextGEN members under 30 to attend with a reduced price. The miniumum to pay is €180, please pay more if you can.
When booking choose:
Booking with recourse to funding (only after agreement with the organisers) and under the intentioanl community section add NextGEN and our website www.nextgen.cc
It would be great if is as many people as possible met up at this event and then traveled together to Europe's annual gathering of the Global Ecovillage Network that NextGEN is co-holding.

You are invited to join us for the Community Conference – The Power of Collective Wisdom, which will take place in Berlin from July 3-6, 2008.
We, the organisers of the event, have lived in intentional communities for many years (at present we live at the Ecovillage of Sieben Linden and ZEGG respectively) and therefore have experienced many of the changes and processes in our movement. At present we find that a similar process is taking place in many communities worldwide: the term 'post-consensus' has been coined to describe a tiredness with long meetings and a longing for a new level of simplicity and effectiveness of decision-making procedures. There is a strong wish for more joy and ease in our everyday interactions. Also, we are in a process of remapping our role within the larger society and searching for ways of meaningful interaction.
It seems that communities are on the way of redefining who they are and how they function.
Our aim in organising the CC is to support this process towards a new level of interpersonal clarity and power of vision in communities and their networks.
We will focus of the following areas:
Transcendence: Alignment with a common inner goal, a transpersonal motivation.
Interpersonal Clarity: honest and transparent communication amongst human beings enables efficiency, creativity and trust to arise in the whole
Economic Foundation: creativity and responsibility in the material and financial realms are a necessary prerequisite for effectiveness to arise in our projects
Service to the World: we need to develop a long term perspective on how best to contribute to the evolutionary development of our society.
These 4 levels can be seen as strong foundation of well-functioning communities and organisations. They can be used as indicators to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of our projects and to find out how healthy evolutionary growth can be supported. A healthy and balanced development of all 4 levels provides fertile soil for processes of collective wisdom.
In order to make this conference a hub of exchange and networking we are inviting participants from the ecovillage movement as well as companies, consultancies, social organisations and NGO's. We are offering a special reduction of those that live in intentional communities.
