Hello All World Changers,

There is an amazing event going on that will rock your awareness of Sustainability.

Sustainability and the Sacred Youth Summit
Friday, July 30 at 2pm - Sunday, August 1st at 2pm, 2010
Blue Deer Center, Margaretville, NY

We will gather around Sacred Fires with Indigenous Elders.  We will speak our heart's troubles and passions about the destruction of our natural world.  We will support and empower each other.  Bridging the Gaps between Youth and Elders, New and Ancient Cultures, Hearts and Minds to Discover ways to live in Balance and Harmony.

Eliot Cowan, a Tsaurirrikame (shaman) in the Huichol tradition, will teach about the spirits of the natural world, how we can best connect to our hearts, and whatever other themes come up that he can provide an answer to.  I've been to a lecture he gave and it was phenomenal.  Joanne Shenandoah, is an Iroquois singer, and her husband Doug George Kanentiio, will give us live music to dance to and get our spirit's moving and they will also do a workshop on Indigenous ways of being.  Ethan Roland is a Permaculturist and he will give some talks about Permaculture and how we can be co-creators with the natural world.

There will be teaching fires held in the tradition of the Sacred Fire Community.  Music to dance and groove too.  Nature walks with Eliot Cowan to learn some ways to commune with Nature.  World Cafe discussions to enhance our understanding of what the Sacred and Sustainability means to us.  Networking and Needs talks to discuss how we can support and each other in these dynamic times.  This will all take place on the land of the Blue Deer Center, a place of deep connection and healing.

Please join us in a Sustainable Revolution that teaches a connection with the Spirit of Life!  The ultimate driving force for a Sustainable way of Being.

Peace,
Brianna Jonak
