AC Transit's new ACT RealTime

On April 2, AC Transit introduced a new real-time bus information technology called ACT RealTime. ACT RealTime provides riders with real-time bus locations every fifteen seconds and more accurately predicts bus departure times. ACT RealTime replaces the NextBus system that AC Transit had been using for real-time bus information since 2003. 

Some developers may have been using the NextBus WebServices API to retrieve information about AC Transit bus lines. NextBus WebServices will not provide information about AC Transit after April 20, 2019. After that date, developers should use the AC Transit API (http://api.actransit.org/transit) for direct access to ACT RealTime arrival information in GTFS-Realtime format.
