Hi All,

Is there any limit on the number of times we can execute the vehicleLocation command in a day? Actually in my solution I have requirement to hit the this command in regular intervals.

looking forward for your valuable reply.

Regards,
Harish

In the API docs there's a section called Limits on Amount of Data which might be useful for you. I don't think there's any daily limit for that API.

Thanks George for reply,

We have already gone through the document, but we did not get details what we are looking for.

Could you please explain the meaning of below statement which I copied from the document.

  • Maximum timespan for "vehicleLocations" command: 5min

The vehicleLocations command takes a parameter t which is the time of last update. You can set t=0 for the first update to get all vehicles and it will have a timestamp that you would use to get only new data in future requests. My guess is they're saying you won't get vehicle location information older than 5 minutes.
