Hello Class,

I hope you're doing well. I will be serving as our Class Correspondent over the next year to keep you all updated about ways to stay involved with Coro, as well as share updates and information about your accomplishments with Coro.

Just a few things this month:

Staying Connected to Coro
If you do not receive regular email updates from Coro please send your contact information to Melanie Organ (mor...@coropittsburgh.org) so they can update their records. You may also share any good news (e.g. job transition, awards, accomplishments, etc.) with her so Coro may share it with our alumni network.

Coro Connections
Coro Connections are personal and professional development sessions open to Coro participants, alumni, and prospective participants. The next session, Empower Yourself: How to do the things you really want to do, will be held on March 4th and feature Women in Leadership alumnus Dr. Ruth Poproski. Click here for more information.

Selection Day for the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs
Coro is looking for judges to help select their next class of Fellows in Public Affairs during Selection Day on March 15th. For more information and to register click here.

Support the Coro Fellows
The Coro Fellows are raising funds for their National Affairs Week in April. Click here to learn more and to donate to the cause, or support their upcoming fundraiser.

Coro Pittsburgh Alumni Council (CPAC)
If you're interested in getting involved, please reach out to CPAC President Allyce Pinchback (allyce.p...@gmail.com).

I look forward to hearing from you and I hope that you'll continue your involvement with Coro.

Best,

Mike McNamara

Thanks, Mike.

I wanted to add one more event to Mike's list (actually, this is a reminder about something I already sent out):  The NEXT Leaders South Pittsburgh  Project Opening on March 6, 6:30pm-8:30pm.  Please see more details and register at the link above.  Jamisha and Brandi have already signed up to attend.  You could be NEXT.  (Get it?  You could be NEXT!?!  Ha!  I'm killing myself.)

Michael

Hello All,
Two things...One, I have a monthly meeting that was rescheduled to March the 6th and I'm pretty sure that I can't get out of it so, it's a strong possibility that I may not be able to attend the Next Leaders South event.  I really wanted to attend in support of not only the class but Kevin Alton as well who I will be working closely with in the upcoming months.  Great guy!
Two... I need contact information for a couple CORO Fellow's, Carlos in particular.  If anyone out there in googlegroup world would like to share them I would greatly appreciate it.  A few Fellows have agreed to be Scribes for a Youth Summit that is to take place in March with 5 PPS High Schools and ME being as thorough as I am, have misplaced their information.  Please help me out NLN.. Thanks

Brandi
