My name is Shantae J. Edwards and I am the Director of Community and Training at Start.coop.
Applications are open for Start.coop’s Spring Cooperative Business Incubator. A FREE 8-week virtual Incubator for rural cooperative founders, especially those led by women, African Americans, Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, Hispanics, Asians, and Pacific Islanders. The program includes weekly workshops, 1:1 coaching, and a $1,000 stipend to help entrepreneurs design their business and ownership models.

Over the 8 weeks of this FREE Incubator, the Start.coop team will work with entrepreneurs to:
Identify the problem their business will address and their cooperative purpose
Brainstorm and test solutions and business models
Build a plan to drive sales and grow revenue
Explore different types of financing for their business
Develop a cooperative ownership model
Program Dates: April 10 -June 5, 2025
